About Jenna

Racing to me has been the “get away” in my life sense. Unfortunately, when I was 11 years old, my parents, both struggling with addiction issues were unable to care for me and my two sisters. My sisters and I then move in with our grandparents, who took us in under their wings, cared for us and did everything to provide a loving home and a future for myself and my sisters.

For my birthday that year, my grandfather decided we would go to the racetrack for the weekend to celebrate. I had no interest at first, but my grandparents had met a woman at the campground who was a race car driver at a local racetrack. They talked about me and my sisters and what had just happened to us and our parents. The women told my grandparents we should come down the next day and see her and her race car. So, we did. She let me sit in her race car. Put on the seat belts, helmet and gloves. Right there I knew, that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life!

Soon after I started my racing career in a kid’s class that focused on teaching the ways of racing on the track. We did different courses and focused on different aspects. After I had aged out of the kids’ class, I moved up briefly to a 4-cylinder class, then moved into a 6 cylinder class where I had great success winning several races as well as many top 3 and top 5 finishes. I then moved into an 8-cylinder class where again we found great success with a several wins and top 3 finishes.

After all these years I have still stuck with racing, because it makes me feel like myself. The future I plan to continue my racing career and further advance in the sport and hopefully reach my goal as a NASCAR race car driver.
